I have always had an interest in art, however it was not until we were married and just before our 2nd anniversary when we welcomed our first child, is when my passion truly developed.

I love capturing life, simple moments yet hold an unbelievable amount of memories... this is what grew my passion of Lifestyle Photography.

I live a very simple life and take photos almost daily. My husband is my best friend and we spend the majority of our free time with our family and close friends. I love music and wine - but not as much as my hubby, kids or photography ;)

I have poured a lot of time and energy into learning the techniques and various tools of the photography trade. As I shoot I am still learning. I am also quite proud in being the co-founder of the Mount Forest Camera Club where I have met some other fabulous photographers in our small town! Photography for me is an artistic expression. I shoot life as it happens, in the moment!

What's In My Camera Bag?

My primary camera is the Canon 5D Mark III - my new pride and joy! The camera's which are currently designated "back-up" are the Canon 5D Classic and my Canon 40D.

I use Canon L glass and have worked very hard at not only building this collection but learning the techniques and tools of the trade for the use of these professional lenses.

The lenses I am using are - 50mm f1.2L, 100mm f2.8L Macro, 24-70mm f2.8L  and the 70-200mm f2.8L IS.

What's My Style?

I enjoy lifestyle, candid , in the moment photography which includes little posing, slight direction and the odd bribe (mainly for children ;) ).

I enjoy shooting anything to do with my family - children, sports, outdoors, landscape, macro, water, nature, animals and am really enjoying our Camera Club's monthly "theme word" which has opened up even more creativity for subjects!
